After Mass each week, we hear the words, “Go forth, the Mass is ended.” But in truth, it’s only the beginning.
The word Mass comes from the Latin “Ite, missa est” — “Go, it is sent.” It’s a reminder that we’re not meant to leave what we’ve heard in the pew. We’re sent out — to live, breathe, and bring God’s Word to life in the world around us — to be His arms, His feet, and His voice.
